Also – I don’t know understand your proposal. I take it you produce the semi-prepared food to X amount of people. Orders come in, you contact said person, they cook and deliver for you? Is that right? If so, how do you ensure that these people will be around when you need them? How do you manage your stock over such a dispersed area? Given the extra transport costs – will there be any savings here? What price will you be able to offer – will this be competative? Do you know how the average consumer will take this – are they happy with the concept of people warming up half cooked food and serving it as authentic Indian takeaway?
Indeed – assuming you get your own business off the ground, branding and consumer awareness are particularly important to a sucessful franchise – particularly when the service they offer isn’t unique / replicable. This is why people buy SubWay franchises rather than set up their own sandwhich shop – the skills aren’t that different, but the brand is.
Apologies if that sounds a bit negative – I just know that starting a busines is a difficult and complicated thing, the worst thing you can do is go into it without thinking things through.

If you wish to start up a franchise make sure you have a little business experience and go and speak to the owner of the original restaurant or takeaway you want to franchise and they will tell the rest of the procedures from there.
